Question by Holly S: Has anyone purchased the new leapforg leappad learning tablet for their toddler?
Are all of the games “learning” based? My son loves the ipdad with all of the “fun” games on there but he is not quite advanced enough to identify numbers and letters. I’m all for the learning part but if he cannot do it, I’m wondering if there are any fun games on there so its not a complete waste of money
Answer by Tara I purchased for my older children and they were a complete waste.
My current 2 yr old loves the itouch/ ipad.
Try the old fashion stuff like reading and match box cars. It is great for their Imagination. Sometimes even pots and pans are great fun. Bubbles are awesome. Enjoy.
Question by Molly: Does anyone remember PBS’s “The Game”?
I have vivid memories of my childhood in the the 1990’s, some of which involve television. One thing that I remember (which was really cool, I might add) was “The Game”. It was like present day PBS Kids Go!, but when introducing the next show, zany characters would move around a game board and get into predicaments.
Did I fabricate this or was it real?
(Oh, and screen shots would be greatly appreciated!)
Answer by Sean B Geniune. PBS did have that interstital between its kids’ shows before it started using the PBS Kids moniker in 1997 or so.
