Question by Molly: Does anyone remember PBS’s “The Game”?
I have vivid memories of my childhood in the the 1990’s, some of which involve television. One thing that I remember (which was really cool, I might add) was “The Game”. It was like present day PBS Kids Go!, but when introducing the next show, zany characters would move around a game board and get into predicaments.
Did I fabricate this or was it real?
(Oh, and screen shots would be greatly appreciated!)
Answer by Sean B Geniune. PBS did have that interstital between its kids’ shows before it started using the PBS Kids moniker in 1997 or so.
Question by dude58677: Would you consider the game “Call of Duty” to be an educational game concerning military history?
You do see the weapons that were used during WW2 as well as how they were used during warfare. From a tatical standpoint it gives the mindset of a soldeir and officer. Last it has clips of documentaries before each battle level from the history channel.
